Dr. Anthony Ferrera, a long time Peninsula resident, graduated from Burlingame High School in 1999. He obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from San Diego State University in 2003. Upon completion, he returned to San Francisco and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2007.
Dr. Ferrera is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), San Mateo County Dental Society (SMCDS), American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).
Dr. Ferrera is committed to each patient’s long term care. His scope of practice includes general preventative care, cosmetic dentistry, sports dentistry, conscious sedation dentistry and sleep apnea care. He strives for innovative care; therefore he attends continuing education courses annually to ensure he provides the best dental treatments for all his patients.
Of course it’s not always about dentistry; he maintains a great work life balance by spending time with his family during his spare time. He also enjoys skiing, traveling, football (San Francisco 49ers), UFC, golfing, wake boarding and Muay Thai boxing.
Meet San Mateo Dentist Jane Vu Ferrera
Dr. Jane Vu Ferrera was born and raised in Stockton, California. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 2000 as a valedictorian of her class. She obtained her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from the University of the Pacific in 2003. She stayed local to Northern California and attended the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007.
Dr. Ferrera is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and the San Mateo County Dental Society (SMCDS).
Dr. Ferrera has a strong affinity for beauty and function with a focus on aesthetic and preventative dentistry. She is dedicated in providing the latest in dental technology and advancements by taking continuing educational courses yearly in general and cosmetic dentistry.
Community service is a value to Dr. Ferrera. She has participated in numerous screenings providing dental care to under served communities in the Bay Area. She has also participated in dental missions around the world including Ecuador, and Peru where she has provided emergency dental treatment to native residents.
She aims to educate and make her patients feel comfortable at each and every appointment.
While she is away from the office, Dr. Ferrera enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She also enjoys snowboarding, traveling, watching 49ers football, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle working out at her Crossfit gym.
Meet San Mateo Dentist Yenba Sing
Dr. Yenba Sing was born and raised in Southern California. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of California, Irvine as well as her Masters in Public Health from California State University of Long Beach. Leaving California for the first time, she attended Midwestern University in Arizona and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2013. She moved to Portland, Oregon where she practiced for 5 years prior to moving back to California to be closer to her family.
Dr. Sing has enjoyed being back in California and making it her new home. She is an active member of the local dental societies and is a regular volunteer at the free Dental Clinic at the Samaritan House in Redwood City.
Dr. Sing loves working with her hands and is an avid crafter and creator, preferring to make things herself instead of buying from the store. This includes sewing laptop protectors and baby supplies, knitting hats and dresses, crocheting little stuffed animals, and baking pastries. As such, she finds herself very lucky to be a dentist, because it gives her the ability to create something beautiful every day.
Family is important to Dr. Sing and she enjoys spending time with her 20 month old son who keeps her busy, as he hits the terrible twos early. She and her husband are also avid football fans and have made the goal of visiting every single stadium in the United States, and possibly London and Mexico as well. She enjoys traveling and loves visiting cities to taste their culinary treasures.

Meet San Mateo Dentist Travis Wu
Dr. Travis Wu was born in Montgomery, Alabama before moving to the Bay Area at the ripe old age of 1 years old. Since then he has lived around the Bay from Fremont, Palo Alto, San Francisco, and San Mateo. He graduated from Palo Alto High School in 2008 and attended University of the Pacific’s Pre-Dental Program at their Stockton campus. In 2010 he advanced to University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he graduated with Honors and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2013.
Dr. Wu is a active member of both the California Dental Association (CDA) and American Dental Association (ADA)
From a young age Dr. Wu loved working with his hands to build models or making LEGO contraptions which drew him to dentistry which meshes two of his passions of science and hands on crafts. As a doctor, he values the importance of patient education and prevention so they feel comfortable and understand the scope of their oral health and what they can do to improve their quality of life. He has treated patients of all age groups from infants to the elderly and has experience in all aspects of dentistry including crowns, bridges, root canals, and removable appliances.
Outside of work Dr. Wu loves to travel the world to experience other cultures first hand and eat all the food he possibly can without exploding. He’s a pop culture junkie from movies to comic books and likes hiking and swimming and still enjoys tinkering with model building.
